How To Apply

Step 1: Submit Your Application via ERAS

To apply, please submit your complete application through ERAS. The following documents are required:

  • Medical School Diploma & Transcripts – Include copies of your diploma and official transcripts showing your degree and date conferred (or current academic progress).
  • Post-Graduate Training Documentation – Provide records of any prior training, whether in the U.S. or internationally.
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) – Highlight your professional experience, academic achievements, and publications.
  • Letters of Recommendation – Submit three original letters from physicians or faculty who can speak to your qualifications and potential.
  • Personal Statement – Share your professional goals and motivations. You may submit multiple statements but assign only one per program.
  • Photograph – A recent professional photo is required.
  • Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE/Dean’s Letter) – An official summary letter from your medical school. A final copy is required upon appointment.
  • Exam Scores – Submit official transcripts for all applicable exams (e.g., USMLE, COMLEX, NBME).
  • ECFMG Certification – Required for graduates of non-U.S. or non-Canadian medical schools.
Step 2: Interview Process

All interviews will be conducted virtually.

  • Interview Invitations – Invitations will be sent starting October 17, 2025, via the ERAS scheduling system. Applicants will have 48 hours to accept before the invitation is extended to another candidate.
  • Waitlist Notifications – Applicants not initially selected will receive an update on their status (waitlist or rejection) between October 24 and November 7, 2025.
  • Interview Dates – Interviews will be held throughout November and December.

Interview day format:

  • Welcome Session – Dr. Russell Bedsole, Program Director, will welcome applicants and introduce the leadership team.
  • Individual Interviews – Each applicant will participate in three separate interviews with faculty members.
  • Virtual Facility Tour – Residents will guide a virtual tour of the hospital and GME Clinic during non-interview times.
Step 3: The Match

Our program participates in the NRMP Match to fill all PGY-1 positions and we fully adhere to NRMP’s Codes of Conduct and Policies and Procedures.

Onboarding & Orientation

Matched applicants will receive onboarding instructions via the email address listed in their ERAS application. Onboarding will be completed through New Innovations, with a checklist and deadlines for each step. Please ensure all tasks are completed on time to begin training on July 1.

We host a one-week orientation during the first week of July. Specific dates and details will be shared after Match Day. Orientation provides essential tools and training to help you start your residency successfully.
